Jonas Masetti (Vishvanatha) is a disciple of Swami Dayananda Saraswati, Swami Saksatkrtananda, and teacher Gloria Arieira. He was initiated into the Vedic tradition in 2004 by prof. Santosh Vallury and since then has been devoted to the study of Vedanta, Sanskrit, mantras, and devotional chanting.
He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from IME (Military Engineering Institute) worked in the financial market and international companies as a business consultant and was a founding member of Morning Star Consulting. He has traveled to Uzbesquistan, Russia, England, Sweden and many other countries. In 2007, as his study of the Vedic tradition progressed, he made the decision to deepen his knowledge by studying under the teachings of Swami Dayananda at the Arsha Vidya Gurukulam for six months. On his return he worked as a collaborator at the study center Vidya Mandir in Rio de Janeiro-Brazil, where he taught Sanskrit and mantras.
He is currently participating in a three year residential course in the Ashram of Swami Dayananda in Coimbatore, India– which is said to end by July 2013. Mrinalini Rao is currently studying Vedanta and Sanskrit in Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, under H.H.Swami Dayananda Saraswati and Swami Sakshatkritananda. She has previously studied with Swami Brahmavidananda in Mumbai where she was based and had her fingers in many pies for the last 15 years.
Trained as a clinical psychologist and counsellor, she was the India Country Director of an international voluntary organisation helping thousands of street children across India. She also taught counselling to Masters students in Psychology and has published papers promoting the richness of Indian thought in psychology. Additionally, she served as a judge to deal with children’s criminal offences for the state government. She often says, ’been there done that’ with respect to the fulfilling life she has led. The rest of her life is committed to studying and sharing the vision of Vedanta.
